The Creative Hawke's Bay Lecture Series brings creative people and audiences together.
The Lecture series provides a forum in which creative people are encouraged and challenged to think about a number of topics that relate to art, culture and design in a broad frame of reference.

Friedlander has been taking photographs for over 50 years and is one of NZ’s
most celebrated photographers. This presentation will focus on a selection of
the photographs that were included in last year's exhibition of her work at the
University of Auckland's Gus Fisher Gallery - portraits of artists, writers and
musicians, street and beach scenes in NZ, as well as photographs taken in
Israel, Austria, and the Pacific Islands.
Presented by photographer Marti Friedlander with Art Historian and Author Professor Leonard Bell.
All Lectures start at 7pm and are at the HB Museum & Art Gallery. Admission is $10 - door sales only.
